cup of wrath

Statement of Beliefs

  • There is one God, one truth, one reality, and the bible is a true testimony of it.
  • Man's natural state is one of delusion so that he can only have fellowship with God through Jesus Christ.
  • Christians will legitimately disagree at times, but should seek wisdom and understanding from the bible.
  • The bible isn't "open to interpretation". However, to be fruitful, it must be rightly-divided and understood in context.

What is the cup of wrath?

"Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it...And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible" (Isaiah 13.9,11 KJV bible). "But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (1st Thessalonians 5.8-9 KJV bible). is a Christian think-tank ministry.

This ministry works to spread a deeper understanding and knowledge of the bible, through research into difficult biblical subjects. This ministry seeks to maintain the highest possible standards of biblical scholarship, in the sincere belief that the scriptures are from God. is non-denominational, and has no affiliations or motivations other than serving Jesus Christ. works to promote an appreciation for the bible.

The bible is the truth, the Word, and God's divine revelation unto man. Yet, what does it really say? Studying the bible can be an intimidating experience. There are endless opinions about what it supposedly says. Confusion is common and some are driven away from the bible.

But there is one God and one truth, and he is not the author of confusion, but the author of peace, "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints" (1st Corinthians 14.33 KJV bible).

The bible can be intimidating and cryptic, but it does reveal its wisdom to those who seek and listen, "Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets...Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you" (Proverbs 1.20,23 KJV bible). God will pour out his wisdom upon those who are receptive to it.

Ultimately, the bible is your lifeline, sword, armor, and it will validate your experience as a Christian. Having a working knowledge of scripture is going to get you through, strengthening your soul to pick up your cross and follow Christ. It is written for your well-being, so that you can have an anchor and solid foundation in this world of darkness and despair.

"Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock" (Matthew 7.24-25 KJV bible).
